We all have times when we are under pressure and sometimes it's difficult to remain composed when it seems like the world and its uncle are losing theirs. The times when the activities, words and even mindset of others can just seem so very frustrating.
What if you stop for a second and approach it differently. When I say differently I mean a split second re-evaluation and go back to calm. When we are calm in our minds we function so much better. We don't suffer stress and all the anxieties that come along with it.
Calmness is finding that moment when as if looking into an imaginary mirror and being able to remind ourselves that the things we stress out about are not worthy of more than a fleeting moment of our time. One way to do this is to simply think on it as "Not my circus, not my monkeys". With this we will see the true nature of the moment and be able to evaluate, act and often dismiss, before becoming even the slightest bit stressful.
Big smiles - they calm, but best of all they're contagious.
