How many times have you heard the expression ‘actions speak louder than words’?
Our actions should always support our words, in that we say should follow through on what we promise and how we act. At the same time, we should know when to listen and when to talk. There is such an important balance to be had in the two.
Never underestimate the importance of listening. All too often we will encounter those who do not listen, instead the whole time thinking of what they are going to say next. This rationale will only ever give an approach that is jaded, one that is ill informed at best.
Our words are more important than most give credit for, as when it is said it can’t be unsaid. When it is heard, it can’t be unheard.
With regard to our actions, it doesn’t matter how big, or how small, there will be significance that carries the importance of our words. Regardless or how big or how little.
Sometimes everything is nothing,
Sometimes nothing is everything...
