Back to The Drawing Board…

Last weekend I was lucky enough to visit Edinburgh city for the first time. Every now and then you go somewhere, and you just fall in love with it. Edinburgh was one of the odd places.

A city steeped in history; but also such beautiful buildings. The architecture is wonderful, it’s better than wonderful - it just keeps you mesmerised how the old and new blend together, and the appreciation of the craftsmanship in the old buildings. All the time wondering how many stories they could tell since their first stone was laid, so many years before.

So this kind of got me thinking about the architecture of our own lives. The planning that may or may not have been put in place and the foundations for which we have build our lives to this point.

The thing is, it doesn’t matter where you find yourself in the world what has happened so far, you can change the design of your life to overcome your surroundings and to rebuild stronger, ready to face any storm.

So with this, there is no restriction to say you can’t ever ‘go back to the drawing board’.

Don’t forget, it doesn’t matter how you design it, because you are in charge.

You are the architect of your own destiny. You hold the pencil and you create the design. Do not commit to design a life anything short breathtaking, and one that will have others stand and admire in awe.

Whatever you aren’t changing, you are accepting… Think about that.
