Love finds a way. More to the point love finds you. Best of all, it happens when you least expect it and when it does it will knock you for six.
Today I’m really lucky to be able to share the day of a couple that has had exactly that.
I’m not going to share names, but they know who they are, and all those lucky enough to be there today are going to be smiling from ear to ear watching them take their vows and have that moment of timelessness.
The thing is it can find you and you can take each day as it comes. Sometimes the journey isn’t always clear cut, but when you have a vision and you have that uncontrolled happiness, then everything else pales in comparison.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been together days or years, when you get hit with it you will know. But you’ve got to let it take you on the ride that it can and does. The thing is you’ve got to let yourself go and let it take you wherever it will.
For the special couple today they have had a journey, not without stumbling blocks, but it’s testament to showing us that when you get bit, you get bitten bad. And for me that is to be celebrated. Each and every time.
If you’re nervous about letting yourself go, don’t be. Do it. Don’t ever be afraid to give yourself over to life and see where the journey takes you.
Like a butterfly beating it’s wings, it can start a tsunami on the other side of the world. So why not let it start a tsunami in your heart.
Happiness is there, love is there. Let yourself be happy. Let yourself be loved…
