Take a shower. Something most of us do every day, just as a simple part of our daily routine. But for some, the very act of taking a shower can be the hardest thing they will do.
Why?
Because sometimes:
We give up
We hide
We wallow - in whatever we have to wallow in.
But if you’re lucky, and there’s a moment of clarity, you get up and you take a shower. Then you keep doing tiny things until the world is a slightly less dark place.
Keep going, you have the heart of a warrior, and you are stronger than you think. Hell, you are stronger than you ever thought possible. The future you needs you, whereas the past you doesn’t. There is every future morning waiting, anticipating your start to the day. So what are you waiting for?
No matter how things are, we can all take a shower.
